Tips for Removing Fuel Pump.

1978 Mercury 70hp

I've been pulling on it, hitting it with a rubber mallet, and it's stuck good.
I sprayed some PB Blaster around the outside to see if that might loosen it.
.
Any Tips for getting it off without breaking it?

Block of wood up against the edge. ..smack with a hammer

I put one of the bolts back in hand tight so when I hit, it didn't go flying.
Does things look good?

Rebuild it. The kits are cheap.

Agree....like water pump impellers....since you went to the trouble to inspect it, why shouldn't you replace it?
