Re: need help!!!!!

How did you arrive at the conclusion there are no fuel problems?

Spark has got to jump at least 7/16 gad. Buy or make spark tester.

Just because spark looks good dont mean much. Its got to jump wide gap, when in open air.

The atmespher is so dence in side a cylinder that it takes a strong blue spark to jump .040.

When and if it passes the spark test. Then Id make sure that carbs are clean.

Remove all welch plugs, clean with carb cleaner and clear all passages with compressed air.

Even if you have good idel, your still on low speed jets. High speed jets could be still cloged and will not let motor reach WOT.

Make sure float levels are correct to manual spec. Check close for air leaks in fuel lines.

Good luck!

Think I gotta agree with Lee here.....make sure the spark is strong. The tip is that every plug wire you pull nearly stalls the engine. If you pull a plug wire on an engine that has good spark to all cylinders, the engine would get rough but should stay running.
