I'm trying to put a V/6 back together after some fire damage. I'm not quite sure what year it is the power head is from a different mid section so the serial#s mean nothing the welch cap only has an 8 stamped in it.it has (v225) cast into it on the # 6 cylinder but the bleeder lines hook up like a v200 or v150 I'm replacing the entire electrical system the only items I dont have are the stator trigger and rectifier. none of these have part #s on them . the stator only has an 8 and 81? what trigger stator and rectifier will work on this motor . I can put these back on but would rather have the reliabilty of new parts with un melted wires. I have pics but don't know how to display them.

there are about four differant combinations, with out a serial number I think you need to see a dealer so they can look at the parts

Not only that, but there are different stators for some of the engines depending on the flywheel.

Some had to be literally measured ( either 1/2 or 5/8 laminate thickness ) You'll need to be able to measure the old one.

Email me your pictures directly...

sure hope it works. This motor has made many people scratch their heads . not a usable P/N anywhere. the only thing is the cast (v225) on the # 5 cylinder so it might be a v225 or a v200

It might be one of those lake x motors. nonproduction motors are notorious for mix and match parts I plan on giving them a call or going down there and see if they decode it . My local dealers are at a loss with this one.
