When I was a kid we had a 40 foot ELCO boat called the "WINDY". People in the area would see us swim off the boat and say" arent you one of those Windy kids?" It just stuck.:redface:

My Dad has a place on Lake Winnipesaukee. He has too many boats and wanted to get rid of the oldest, most beat up boat which is a 15' home made thing that he built 30 years ago. It is named for what we use it for most...the beerrun. All 9 of us "kids" and 12 grandkids freaked out when he said it was going, so he re-did it this summer and i am happy to say that we put it to good use again this year. So, my name comes from my favorite old boat built and re-built by my favorite old man.

My buddies and I used to have body surfing contests in Sea Isle City New Jersey every year. The winner was called Big Kahuna for the year. I won 4 times.....hence ..kahuna. I'm WEAKFISH on THT and BLUECLAW on the BassBarn.

Mine's simply the initials of my name. It's my second user name on here. Changed it a few years ago.

Mine's actually a mistake, it should have been 96MK8LSC. That's my username from a Lincoln Mark VIII website I've belonged to for a few years.

In my case "Frayed Knot Arts" is just a reflection of what I do.

I use to do a lot of fly fishing around the country and in Canada. Now I mostly fly fish here at home. And therefore FLY ROD became my call name.

Being from south Louisiana, I got the name "Ragin'Cajun" while stationed in Wyoming. Being from the south, I grew up on saltwater fishing and seafood as all cajuns do. But, I soon learned that hunting is a great way to take out some frustration and legally shoot something when you are 1600 miles from your speck fishing hole!
Being in northwestern Louisiana now, I get to enjoy decent deer hunting while still getting to back home to enjoy some speck fishing with my dad. Now I have two seasons for the year: Hunting and Fishing!!!!!!!!

WOW This thread is ancient, took me like an hour to read the whole thing.
I think mine is self explanatory- I hunt ducks on the Great River in central Minnesota.

My boat is a '69 Nova Marine 24 Sprint. Thus a 'Nova' Nova as opposed to a 'Wellcraft Nova'.

Have owned a couple of Wellcraft Nova's and love to stare at the stars out on the water---seemed fitting. Plus, all the kids call me "superman" because they think I can fix anything, not because I fly or have laser vision or wear a cape or anything.
