Ancient thread or not, I am ancient and so is my mode of motivation. My favorite boat is a steamer. I love her silent power and her economy. I wish all could experience....External Combustion.

Re: What does your username stand for?

I'm gonna drum this old thread back up to life. My name is derived from the car I bought when I got out of the Army back in 1993. Everything I'd owned up to that point was pretty much a piece of garbage, so I was looking for something really cool to make my statement with. Didn't want something that everyone had ( mustang, camaro ).

Ended up stumbling upon this 1965 Plymouth FuryIII....repainted in bright red with cragar SS rims and a glasspack exhaust with a 383. It was love at first site. I was 300ft from the car and it was already purchased in my head.

Then I bought a CB and made up the RedFury moniker for myself. I try to use it as much as possible, but for any kind of large site, that is usually taken. So, my AIM handle became Redfurylll or I use Redfury111 for email, etc...some variation of it.

Loved the car, was sad the day I drove it into a tree head on, and even sadder when I sold it...lots of fond memories-like bringing my newborn daughter home for the first time in it...that car would put her to sleep in an instant.

Its obvious,
I hog projects like a madman. I have atleast 4 or five on the go all the time and have just included a homeless absolete boat which is now going to be brought back to reality and will be retrained to fetch fun. It keeps me from going stale on just one thing.

I moved from California, where I had lived for 58 years, to Minnesota, and adopted the screen name after the move. So far, there has been no sign of rejection. So far. :D
