    no, i didnt. from what i read, that tool screws onto the outer shaft and you use a bolt through the center of the tool to tighten against the inner shaft which pulls the outer shaft and carrier from the case. no?

    Does the DP-sm drive prop bearing carrier thrust ring have reverse threads?

    It's been a long time since I've done one of these and can't remember whether the threads were standard or reversed. Had anybody done one recently?

    this should help with your troubleshooting. as for the wires to the distributor, follow them from the dist to the ignition module, mounted on the riser. chances are the ignition switch, inside the distributor has gone bad, more likely than the module itself.

    im not sure what you mean by that. the oil is contaminated, its not supposed to be that color, the oil installed was darker. blue/green tint

    the gaskets on the plugs are new each year, there was no water in the gimbal/bellows.

    ive been using the HP synthetic blend lube the past few years and it has a blue/green tint to it
