    There are 3 black cube relays on the starboard side of the engine, near the main wiring harness. Are you suggesting one of them could be the starter relay? Still can't post a picture. Thanks.

    The engine side of the main harness has all the correct wires, however the boat side has only 8. From what I'm reading online, Four Winns offered the engine alarm as an available option. Why it would not have been standard is beyond me.

    So the alarm is now working. I ran a separate wire from the number 4 pin to a new alarm at the helm, with the other side to 12V purple wire at the volt meter.     Safety Lanyard Switch for a 2008 5.0 GXI

    The new Sierra switch from Amazon fits perfectly.... Only problem is that it functions just the opposite from the original.... It's a closed circuit with the lanyard key removed, and with the lanyard key in place, there is no power to the ignition... :(
