So the story is that i got a seized sterndrive so split it in half and found out the upper was seized and the lower on the other hand would turn, So i drained the lower and Lo and behold water came out, so it seemed like someone was so intelligent that they put water instead of oil well at least...

i have heard about these petronix stuff for the coil and condeser would that be good or just stick to oem and where could i buy these parts to service the points
ok so i got a lot of knowledge from that thanks so now my question is what ohm rating should the resistance wire be and what do you think the problem is with my spark could it be the slave solenoid or maybe just wrong wiring ??
Ok so i wired it like the diagram well only the parts needed to start and well when i put the wire to the battery the slave solenoid just clicked but when i shorted both the small studs on the slave solenoid it cranked the engine but no spark but i still presisted until i got it to sparj like 3...
