    1989 Force 85hp dead cylinder

    I am working on a 1989 Force 85 hp. the lowest cylinder is not making power. I have checked the carbs, seemed clean but still blew out all the passages after removing the jets and air bleed.     propeller identification

    I have a 1976 Johnson 70hp. It has a stainless prop but I cannot find any identification numbers for pitch and diameter. Is there any easy way to figure out exactly what I have.

    plastic tank fitting and pick up tube needed

    1976 Johnson 70hp stalls at wide open throttle after 20 seconds

    after 20 seconds at wide open throttle the engine stalled. checked primer ball at the tank and it was soft and wouldnt pump back up.. checked carb bowls, they were almost empty. I want to replace primer closer to the engine. then replace fuel line, then rebuild the engine fuel pump. Am I on...

    I have a 1976 70hp Johnson on a 15 1/2' VIP fish and ski. I revs well beyond 2500 rpm in neutral. When Im under load it will not rev up and even stalls out while trying to plane.
