    Transom Bolt Clamp Handle

    I broke off one of the plastic handles that is attached to the clamps that secures the outboard to the transom. Are there any other ways of making a handle. Perhaps a thin bolt with treads on each end. Or installing a bolt head? any ideas? Thanks.

    Trailer Tire PSI?

    Size of tire = 5.30-12 On the sidewall of the tire it states "Load 1050 Mas Psi 80 psi. Should I really inflate these to 80psi? Presently I have them at 55 psi.

    I was looking at portable gas tanks at a dealer. I didn't realize there are different types. One was the basic type, you open the vent when you are of the water. The other automatically vents itself. Are these worth the extra money?

    Do I need to still use the Jack Plate?

    I am planning on getting a 25HP or 30HP Etec, long shaft. It will be replacing my Yamaha 15 HP. I had the Yammy on a jack plate to get the best performance. With the new outboard is it recommended the jack plate stays in for best performance? Advise. Thanks, Andy
