    Proper flushing question

    I was misinformed about the proper way to flush my 1998 Yamaha 250 hp EFI motor. When I pulled my boat for the season I used the built-in hose connection and ran at idle for about 5 minutes. The water pump has about 150 hours on it. Can I assume I've done damage to the impeller or other parts?

    I am attempting to winterize my 1998 Yamaha 250 hp OX66 EFI for the first time. I'm familiar with the procedure but I'm not sure about spraying the fogging fluid. If I remove the silencer from the motor, will that expose the injectors and will the motor continue to run? Thanks for the help.

    I have twin 1998 250hp ox66 fuel injected motors with approximately 750 hrs. One motor had a new power head installed at approximately 600 hrs. The original motor burns about 10% more fuel and oil than the motor with the new power head. Is this normal?

    I have twin 1998 250hp OX66 fuel injected motors with Yamaha gauges. My gauges do not read fuel consumption below 10 kts., so while trolling my burn is inaccurate. Is there an adjustment on the fuel gauge other than the 1-3% adjustment, or should I be looking at the relay, lines, or something else?

    Tilt motor won't go up

    I have a 1998 250 hp ox66 fuel injected motor. I removed the tilt motor wires to install a new trim sensor, and when I reconnected everything, the tilt motor was not going up. It works in the down position perfectly. I'm sure I connected everything correctly. Any suggestions?
