    I was not with them when they worked on it. I will ask about the tps readings. They went back to check timing advance and I haven’t heard back yet.

    Yes the beeper work. No alarms when running.

    I had a mercruiser mechanic take a look at it with a scanner. He is stumped also, everything checks good. He double checked compression,fuel pressure, firing order to no avail. No fault codes stored or while running.

    2000 mercruiser m.4 mpi fuel pump and regulator

    Has anyone changed there fuel pump and regulator while still in the boat.? My throttle is limited to 3800 rmp. The cool fuel package is in there so tight I don't see how to get at it without engine removal. Thanks

    Converting plastic pump to brass

    I have a 2000 merc 7.4l mpi bravo 3. I have the plastic raw water pump that went bad. Some one is offering to sell me the brass one for the same price. Has anyone done this conversion? Thanks B.matt

    i have a mercruiser 7.4l mpi , i pulled the manifold and risers off. How do you tell of the are good or bad. The openings do not look clogged and the metal appears to be thick. but there is a rust flaking of the water passages. Thanks B.matt
