    Thank you for the reply. No I havent, But with the muffs on I have water coming out of the transom holes and the prop. Doesn’t that mean I have flow? There’s also a lot of water coming from the spot where you can see the shift linkage. Not sure if that is normal or not.

    All great advice! Yea I know a guy that has a v8 mercruiser and the whole outdrive out of a junker boat. He sais it’s all there and the outdrive and motor definitely came off the same boat.

    I have a 1999 Bayliner 1950 capri. It has a 3.0 mercruiser with a alpha 1 gen 2. I am wanting to change the 3.0 mercruiser and the outdrive with a v8 mercruiser and new outdrive.
