Any folks have experience boating in this lake? Looking for a decent size lake for tubing, fishing and wake boarding that doesn't have "bath tub" qualities from a million boaters zipping up and down a narrow lake. Any suggestions in the north/western MD area would be great. thx!

I'm thinking of painting my side bunk posts (that are barely galvanized) gloss black to match my trailer .... you find that Rustoleum Stops Rust Enamel Spray Paint #7779830 wont hold well? This trailer is fresh water only if that matters. Dang.
The water at the dock where I launch and load gets a little choppy from all the boats zipping up and down the lake which makes loading a bit tricky (also gets quite windy at times) so I'm looking for a way to make it a little easier and less frustrating. I'm starting to look at trailer guides...
So here I go, just may go ahead and replace my steering cable if I feel up to it. It looks like the only tricky part would be getting it behind the engine and putting that little pin in there, very tight space. Anybody have any tips or tricks installing this cable? I can manage the helm part...
I'm planning on replacing my steering helm, part # 3950210, and having trouble finding anything but few used parts on ebay, rather buy new if possible. Can't seem to find anything online, when I search for this part what pops up is SH5210P. Is this a replacement? Cant find any product...
Looks like the wood rotted around the bolt enough that my little nudge popped it off, the bracket/trailer looks fine. The one 2x4 side bunk was the one that popped off but if I'm going to put a new board/carpet on I'm going to just do all the bunks since they're all about 10 yrs old.
