    I was wondering if anyone knows the torque rating for the big nut that holds the flywheel on?? 1981 25hp Johnson. Do I just slide the flywheel back down over the key slot and tighten the nut?? Thank you!

    Removing flywheel nut 25 hp Johnson.

    I've got an '81 25hp Johnson that I am wanting to pull the flywheel off of. Is there any trick to getting the nut off the flywheel without using an impact wrench? Maybe a strap wrench? Just wondering what you have tried. Thanks!

    Changing crank seal 25hp Johnson

    I've got a '81 25hp Johnson. I may have a fuel leak coming from the crank seal under the flywheel. Just wanting to know how tough of a job it would be to change the seal? After I pull the flywheel what has to be done? Thank you for any info!

    Fuel leak '81 Johnson 25hp

    I've got a fuel leak on my '81 25hp Johnson. It appears to be coming from up underneath the flywheel somewhere. Any ideas where the fuel could be coming from? The fuel line from tank/fuel pump/carb are good. Is it an easy process to get the flywheel off? Do I need a puller to get the nut off?
