Ayuh,...... What motor is it,..?? Does it have P/S,..?? There should be a drain in the H/E to drain the raw water side,..... If it has P/S, there's probably raw water in the P/S cooler too,......

Ayuh,...... I believe that's the reason some mechanical fuel pumps have one of those big thick plastic spacer, 'n two paper gaskets,....... Instead of being mounted directly to the block, with only a thin paper gasket,.....
