I recently aquired an 88 model VIP Bass Boat with a Force 125 on it. The Force has ignition problems. Have ordered a CD module. I also have a similar year Mercury 115 "Tower of Power" Even if the force engine runs out good. Would I be better off to swap it out with the Mercury?

I have a sears 3.5 That is in great shape all is present except for some carb parts (basically i have the body) does anyone know a source for parts or even another junk motor with the carb present. Compression is good and will run a bit when i spray gas into the carb.

Sometimes when it would start easily and run kind rough so i thought it was carb and sometimes sometimes it would not even hit so i checked...
