Thanks for the info. For others that may need more in depth info, each compartment has a drain. The rear compartment where the shift rod is, has two drain holes.

I tried stiff wire, compressed air and lightly cleaning with a long drill bit. I see that the middle and back compartments are exposed to water but is the front one that has the rod that gets attached with a allen head screw to the upper case supposed to have water inside of it?

I've got a 1976 Chrysler six horsepower two-stroke. The forward cavity is not draining. Does anybody have a clue how to locate the drain channel? Do I run a drill bit down?
When the lower unit was separated it was full of water. Not the section where the oil is but above it. The oil looks great.

I have a 1977 Bayliner Liberty model 2150. Looking for the colors to order Gelcoat repair kits. The color is a off white (ivory?) and rust color for the hull. My local Fiberlay store can mix the colors, but he just handed me a chart. Here is a picture of the chart against the boat.

My donor hydronic heater core has 1/2" and 5/8" lines. I read that the larger line would help to always keep the pressure lower on the outlet side.

There is a functioning water temperature gauge also on the instrument cluster. Maybe a 12v solenoid valve inline with the proposed cabin heater hoses would make it so the operator could control the heat output and also for the summer months when cabin heat is not needed.
