I am looking for a 4 step boarding ladder for my Doral Elegante. My internet searches thus far have yielded a plethora of 3 step models but no 4 steps?!
Does anyone know where this model came from and whether they are still made?

Mine has fatigue fractured at some of the joints.

The rod holder is on the horizontal moulding above the fender. I am able to fit the 3 way inserts to give a total of 6 rods from two permanent holders.

I have cracked one of the perspex drink holders on the bow of my Elegante!
It is held in place by 4 chrome posts with a matching dome on top. Has anybody here removed one of these?

Finally have my new drives on the Elegante.
It is now like the boat I test drove 5 years ago when it still had the shipping plastic all over it:D
No more constant corrections of the steering, no more trim tab adjustments... :D:D:D
The exhaust sounds better too! It does have a lot more noise...

Had a nasty find while cleaning up on Saturday. The bi-fold top that fits over my galley stove has a crack emanating from one of the hinge screws!
Haven't sent email to Doral yet but I'm guessing the postage to Aust' might be a killer, the cover is mighty heavy.

I keep having the male press studs pull out of the transom. I am considering a helicoil type fix. Any other bright ideas that work?
The epoxy job the shipwright used last time lasted for a year but the hole keeps getting bigger using his method.

I am looking at replacing the drip tray under my generator.
The original was partially eaten by corrosion as a result of a failed raw water pump spraying salt water throughout my engine bay. Is there any reason not to replace it with a plastic or fibreglass tray?

I have an ongoing issue of deck run off going into the outer bilges under the engines.
There are no bilge pumps in this area (something to do with being green).
I am looking to run lines from the drains out through the hull rather than into the central bilge. Anybody tried this on a Doral...

I have noticed the stern lines rubbing the gelcoat on the stern cleats for a while when in the berth and even worse when the stern anchor is deployed.
Has anybody suffered the same issue? How did you deal with it?
I am considering a stainless rubbing strip but it would need to look good...

I find the CD and DVD players run my single house battery down too quickly leaving me with warm beer when the cockpit fridge turns off!
If I add an additional battery do I need to change my alternator? The main battery charger...
