Just heard the weather man say that spring was only 22 days away. I am going to make him stick to that or else he will be head first in a snow pile!

Just a lil side note about the lil lady guys...... if she says anything to me I'll just make the boat rock more and get her sea sick so she will sit down and get real quiet when she sick

Spring fever has really kicked in now. Spent Sunday out fishing in my 14 ft Aluminum boat. I wasn't catching just fishin, but it was really nice to be on the water.

Well, I dont have a bikini model in the foreground and the water is not emerald green but I was happy with the dinner time view yesterday. This was the first time in my 20 years of boating that I had a boat de-winterized in the month of February. I Was able to wash off the winter grime and flush the fresh water system twice before leaving the slip at 5:46 PM yesterday.. Ahh life is good in the south.

Well a lot of the snow has melted or blown off the tarp cover on the boat. I am seeing this as extremely early signs of spring !!!!

All I know is that my boat is inside nice and warm getting its top fixed so I can stand under it. Should be done sometime later this week.
Hey guys has anyone bought any electronics from Ganger Mountain and used it in Canada and is it ok with US/Canadaian Coastguard regs.?
I am planning atrip there this weekend to find a new VHF Radio and maybe a FF/GPS.

All I know is that my boat is inside nice and warm getting its top fixed so I can stand under it. Should be done sometime later this week.

Yep!
There is a downside, in my haste on Friday I split the seam on my storm cover!
I have used sail repair tape on the under side and am going to stitch it on the weekend. (Going out Sat morning after sport and coming back in when the sun goes down on Sunday).
Any experience with sail tape for cover repairs? I have used it before as a temporary repair on sails with success but never on sunbrella cover material.

I have used it on all kinds of repairs. Tents, boat covers, tarps, awnings and a lot of things that I can't remember. Great stuff and will last a long time.
