Wow! Silence from all the Doral owners here for like 2 1/2 months...isn't anyone doing anything to their boats over the winter? I sold my Cavalier, now I only have 4 months to come up with a new one, thinking '86 -'90 Citation perhaps, would like a V8 anyway. Anyone hear of any good deals in southern ontario, please let me know! Thanks! John

Looks great. Im thinking on mounting on where the mirror goes into the rope locker forward on my 250 sc. Are you running an inverter or dc while out on the water? What type of antenna system?

We have generator on the 300SE so we always run off of AC. After trying literally every digatal TV antenna Walmart sold, we ended up installing a Shakesphere marine antenna on the radar arch. Outstanding picture. Our TV is mounted on a slim mount quick release so it is easy to move the TV to up on the helm to watch football while sitting topside.

There's an 88 Citation for sale up here in Washago. They're asking 9900 but it's been for sale for a while.

@Klab010, hey Kev, yeah, got an outstanding offer that I couldn't resist, although now I wish I had't've, it was an awesome boat, but I'll find another

@r.j.dawg, sent them an email as soon as you told me about it, but they've yet to reply, do they close for the winter?

There must be a good deal out there on a Cavalier/Citation, but I guess its just the time of the year that I'm not finding a good one
I've never been boatless before, so feeling a little lost, lol

I see JB. just make sure you sick with the Doral Brand.. everyone I talk to says it is a very well made boat. I can imagine you must be searchin the classifieds daily!

I think I've found the boat I want, its an '88 Cavalier, seems like it was well loved, doesn't have the walk through transome gate and the molded in bow pulpit like my '89 had, bit I think I can manage, it does have fully functional beer fridge in the galley, haha

I don't think they can be any bigger than 640 x 480. If you have a photobucket account you can re-size them there.

Bought my new boat yesterday! Its a super mint 1985 Thundercraft Magnum Express with the 260 hp (350 V8) Mercruiser
I'll get some pics up asap

The Cavalier deal didn't fall through at all, its just when I saw this Thundercraft, I knew I had to have it
