Guess what people???? I took my boat out today .......... just one little catch though.................I took it in to get the tops made higher as I am 6' 6" and 5'5" just didn't cut it for me! I got a lot of funny looks from other drivers on the road... you know kinda like "is he nuts or what?" LOL no I''m not but it sure got the old juices running to get out on the watrer ASAP

Was the boat just begging to go to the lake !!

I could hear it crying through the snow bank it was burried in :facepalm: And yes it would be nice to get temps here over -10C
All I want to do now is go to the London boat show Friday and see what I can pick up new for season and then look out water here comes BOATERIC

Wow! your top is only 5'5"?!?! I'd get that changed too, lol. Mine still has the factory canvass and has plenty o room for my 6'2" self and then some. Looking forward to seeing how it turns out for ya Ric! THREE MONTHS LEFT!

Ah, the previleges of a trailer boat. The crane comes to put us in at the PPYC a week or so before the May 2-4 weekend. On the plus side, we have more time to do things like my favourite job...applying the anti-fouling paint >.<

Ahhhh I hate to rub it in but I will be out on My Doral saturday. Yard work completed Tuesday. No more freezing temps predicted in Atlanta Georgia USA. I will feel the wind in my hair and enjoy it for those who still have a few more months of hibernation left. We have the weather and you all in Canada have the hockey and the beer!

2 months looks like a very long time to me. I just want get out there and learn more about my boat so I can safely handle it ..that way everyone on board has a great with me.

No unfortunately. Going to our daughters to upgrade some wiring.

Congrats on the new lil boater. I just got back from the London boat show and man did I get some good deals there. IE: a mustang auto inflation life vest for $149 instead of the regular $259 and thats not all I got a downrigger rod & real combo for $220 instead of $400. Sure wish had a lot more loose change to spend but I don't want get the lil lady at home mad at me do I
