Haha, he must be putting the dryer sheets/mothballs in his boat. Mines well stock with them. A friend of mine however neglected to place some in his Citation before parking it in a farmers field...rodents like upholstry and life jackets that don't smell like dryer sheets/mothballs

I'm here ppl. We just had house guests for a few days and couldn't get to the puter as it is in the guest bedroom/den/computer room.
I have not fallen asleep at the wheel just yet BUT given time and I might

Good to see you back Ric! Found a pic of my Cavy being hauled out and before tarping her up. We need more boat pics here to get us through the winter, dontcha think? Had to make those stands and they actually worked, size wise anyway. =p

Ya mine is all put to bed for the winter as well. Maybe next spring when I take its blankets(tarps) off and it wakes up after a hopfully short winter nap I'll get a good pic of it for you all to see my baby. I am still going to try and get out on it as much as possible but things ave gotten a lil unsetled with my son and his wife. She has some strange ideas to what is real and what is actully reality. Shure wish someone would hit her up side the head and wake her up to REAL life and its responsibilities. They have identical twin 5 yr old boys that are so nice and sure dont need this in thier lives right now!
Anyhow got to go ppl cus I have to get out of here for a few days as I need to get caught up on my boating course and sure cant do that in here gabbin all day.

I'm still here. Boat is sleeping soundly in the porta-garage. Also full of dryer sheets and mothballs! It works good, I stuff the riding lawnmower full of dryer sheets too, it keeps the mice from making nests.

Well I am going to be out for a week and a bit. Mrs Ken and I are heading to the Dominican Republic on Thursday morning for 10 days. All inclusive top notch resort. Look after the place till I get back !!!!

Nice, my last boat was a '78 Fiberform 20' with the merc 165, inline 6 Chevy, really like that set up. super reliable. had that for 7 years. Now all you have to work on is some pics!

I mostly trailer it. Did keep it moored at the inlaws place, but it was a pain wading out to it every time we wanted to go out.

Well here I am fellas. Did you miss me? and I want to know by how many bullets too!!
Man am I ever thankful we have NOT had much snow this year as I had to park myboat outside as my sons place was full I don't want have to go out and up there to clean that stupid stuff off it either

All I wanted for Christmas was stuff for my boat and all I got was a $50.00 gift card for CTC and a can of beer nuts. I do want to get a new VHF with GMDSS so guess I'll have to go shoping for it in the US. Does anyone know of a good marine supply store close to or in Port Huron area as we go there a couple of times a month? Well people got to go as the grand boys are here at Papa's for a sleep over.

Good to see you back. Is your boat covered up at all ??? Try e-bay for your VHF, usually some decent deals there. Hope the sleep over went well.
