Ok time to wire this boat.what I don't know is how to wire in the tach for my 1985 evinrude 150 xp anyone out there with any help with this one would be much appreciated.
I just finished replacing my transom and have the old one laying on a flatbed to reference placement of holes for some items. Would a picture help with a ruler for reference work or would you like me to trace it on paper and mail it to you? Willing to help.
There is a piece of aluminum sheet between floor and stringers is this how it was from the factory and how much did it cover? Mine goes from the cabin stepdown to two feet from transom
It is NOT 3/4 inch. I believe it was a replacement floor done in the late 70s.I have no idea what was original but everything else is fit to this. It is 1 1/8 thick and I was able to source 1 1/8 marine plywood to replace it.
JB I have already got the 1-1/8 replacement material sealed and prepped to go in. The old stuff was screwed down with stainless screws and I planned to do the same. Had not thought about rivets. Where would I source rivets that long. I do plan to go back in the same holes.
My worry is that the things that are attached to the gunnel and floor would not fit if I changed the thickness. I would definitely like to lose the weight. tite-bond lll it is thanks.
