I took off the cover and removed the mount. There are holes in all 3 sides of the midsection where the mount goes in.
Is this useable for a while?
I know that replacing the midsection is best but not in the budget right now.

The question is what year is it?
The model number on NADA for a 90 is J100SLTES
The model number on NADA for a 91 is J100STLEI
Therefore I think it is a 1990 but I don't know what the "B" on the end is for.

I have a 1985 30 hp evinrude. How much difference would it make to go from a 3 blade 10 inch X 13 pitch to a 4 blade 10 inch X 13 pitch prop? I am looking to lower my rpm's. I don't know what my current rpm's are exactly. (I don't have a tach) But it sounds like the rpm's are high.

I have a 30hp 1985 Evinrude. It takes about 3-5 seconds before it starts pumping water out when I first start it. I was wondering if this is normal or if maybe I need to replace the impeller or something. Any help is appreciated.
