    Merc alpha one gen 2 can this be welded ?

    So my boat unfortunately washed up on some rocks and this is part of the result to my sternndrive. Can this be fixed by my local welder without melting or destroying inner parts? Thanks

    2008 moomba shaft

    Hi Guys I'm new to the moomba world. I was changing my prop and I noticed the rubber around the shaft seems to be warn unevenly. Is this cause for concern and I need to change some parts or do I send it ? Thx

    Unfortunately I don't have insurance. It's not in Salt water fortunately..

    I will drill holes and see if the transom is rotted aswell as do a stress test on the stern to see if the transom has flex when I put weight. I'm not afraid of pulling the stern and motor. I've done it before in a couple hours.

    I was thinking as I saw my boat crashing against the rocks... why don't I have insurance. I'm honestly super handy and feel like if I have to pull the stern and the motor, cut out the transom and redo the fiberglass I'm down. But I'd rather reach out to pros to see if you guys think that's...

    So the water came in over the side of the boat as I tried to push it back out into the lake. I would say the boat filled up 1/3 on the angle. We got it turned around and pulled the plug.

    Hi , Sadly the water came up 16" over night combined with a bunch of white caps which resulted in my boat coming off the lift and washing ashore. These two spots are the worst of the damage. What are your thoughts ? Thanks!

    4.3l merc sterndrive gear ratio.

    Hi everyone, I have a 4.3 merc with a sterndrive on a 1991 cadorette. I wrecked the upper gear on the stern drive that I can not count the teeth on the gear to find out the gear ratio. Would anyone be able to help me with this. Here is a link with a photo of the serial numbers. Thanks

    4.3L I/O Bad Coupler Again..

    Hi everyone So I have a 4.3L I/O on a 1991 Cadorette. This summer my coupler went bad ( all the metal splines disappeared ) So I pulled the outdrive and the motor changed the part. Had it meticulously realigned by a Mercruiser mechanic. 23 hours a boating later same thing happened...
