I left my boat on the water. I drained all water hoses and lines and filled with anti freeze. Do I take inlet line off of the seawater pump and plug or leave it attatched?
1989 50hp Force was running on one cyl. Had blown head gasket. Sounds simple.
Replaced to specs and inspected while down. It is getting fire to both plugs and getting gas.
It will still only run on one cyl. Good compression on both.:confused:
I was running on plane when it sounded like I spun a Prop. I pulled it back in neutral and then back in forward. I could here a lot of grinding noise and the faster I went the louder it got. Right before the incident I noticed a high pitched sound from the outdrive. I trolled back to the dock...
I just recently tried to install a new mechanical fuel pump on my 7.4 Bravo. 1990 Sea Ray Cruiser. I accidently bent the push rod and it is stuck. Is there a way to extract it without removing the intake manifold or head?:confused:
Cleaned Carb, replaced diaphram in pump. When first launched it planes out and runs fine at WOT. Then the next time it boggs after 1/2 throttle. changed primer bulb and lines and clamps. :(:(
Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I want to install a tach on a 89 Quantum Bass Boat with a 89 50hp Force.
What does everyone recommend. Do I have to run the green wire all the way to the motor?
