When I put this basket case back together I didn't have a rubber flexible exhaust tube so I just went ahead. Now that it is up and running (slowly to break in the new gears and stuff)am I hurting anything running it without the tube that connects the exhaust to just in front of the prop???<br...

My manual suggests removing the sterndrive to lubricate the gimbal housing bearing and the universal joints. It looks straight forward, has anyone ever done this and are there any tips out there????? TIA<br /><br />Mike
