    how to tell if I have a bridgeport without disassembling the motor

    I have a mercury 200 hp which has had the powerhead replaced before I bought the engine. The engine sounds like a hotrod. Are there any way to tell if it is a bridgeport without taking it apart to look at pistons, etc. thanks

    What to replace when rebuilding carbs???

    I recently had issues with my mercury 200 not idling at all at times and very sluggish take off. I took my carbs off because when I pumped my bulb gas poured out of the from of carb number 2. So, I took them off and cleaned them out good with carb cleaner. I put them back on. Same problem...

    My boats serial number pulls up a fuel injected mercury racing motor. However, my engine cowl are the clam shell type and I have three 2 barrel carbs on my Mercury 200 hp... I need to get a book or diagram on this motor or powerhead so I can look at some things like the small black tubes...
