I need to know the age of two tohatsu outboards, both 9.8hp
Engine 1= TOHATSU 9.8 MODEL NO. B18D/serial no,14351
Engine 2= TOHATSU 9.8 MODEL NO. M9.8A/serial no,17962
I think they date from around 1992. Is that correct ?
Any help please. Have tried age checking files but cannot find...

There are no tags or serial plates on it anywhere. Looks ready for the scrap heap but I guess nothing is dead until its buried.
I reckon its an evinrude 10hp, maybe the sport twin from about 1966 - seems to have had a big old revamp on the hood though...

opened the gearbox oil drain screw, I didnt even get that milky white oil water mix. I got a glass of clear water with half a dozen blobs of oil in it so am thinking it needs the seal kit - is this correct
