    I am rebuilding the lower unit on this motor , everything going ok, ( minor issues) however under the water pump is a seal , I removed that , and under that is a caged needle bearing for the shaft, I cannot find this part on any diagram, I would of expected a bronze bushing , that being said...

    i have a bad seal (under water pump) i removed 4 bolts,(BELOW WATER PUMP) how do i get the assembly out to replace the seals?, THANKS FOR ANY SUGGESTIONS

    150txrc power trim motor

    i have developed a leak b/tween the motor and the ram body, two of the three bolts came out, the third and longest seems very tight, any suggestions, is heat a option on the third bolt?

    trying to identify the recirc valves on my intake,i have a brass nipple/tee, that is looped to a single nipple, which one is the recirc valve, and finally which direction is flow, thanks :confused:

    150 txrc, idle just does not sound right, carbs have been done, top rpm perfect, at idle very little "vacume " at carb throat, carbs 1 and 3 showing the same sign, carb 2 strong pull, i can remove pilot screws and no change , pull plug wire and a very slight change, could this be reed gasket...

    150 txrc, no intake "suction/vacume"

    i have spark, i have fuel, but no "suction" on carb bank1 and 3. if you put your hand over 2 you can feel the suction , compression is 95-105 0n those banks, is it reeds? , this one has me banging my head against the wall,:confused:

    motor was running a little rough, so as usual i figure time to do the carbs,(this is my second yamaha spanning 20 yrs, a usual spring ritual) worse since e-10. now it runs terrible , while trying to get on plane(no power) spray gas in a atomizer through top carb set= pick up in rpm, at idle...
