On the last stretch of the project and was curious of how much I would need to sand to start applying gel coat. Now I know half of the project is the sanding which I’ve felt the pains. Could I apply to the sanded portion or do I NEED to absolutely sand bare and start there?
I did realize I didn’t put down the model and also found out that the release is on the handle near the locking screws and that lever is only used when motor is free.
The guy actually got back to me and told me he ran it and didn’t take it out because he’s older so it’s the unburned fuel which make sense because it was thinner liquid and silted black instead of nasty oil much appreciated response!!
Also after running and even after getting the motor (also was ran) dripping gear oil (black oil btw) guy said to had put new prop on; would anyone suggest changing seal or checking to see if it’s not all the way seated.
Just found oil leaking after running maybe 2 days ago out of the tiny hole...
