    !997 bayliner rondevuous Tried to start after two months hanging on the lift. It turns over fine but won't fire. Tried starting fluid, have spark at distributer plug cable connector, have gas at entrance to carb? The safety switch is in the correct position (up). I can see flame at the bottom...

    Stopped In ICW while crusing at about 5 Knots

    Evinrude 1998 175 Ficht.<br />Engine stopped as if you just turned the key off while cruising the ICW at Clearwater FL. Safety cable to key switch does not appear to be the problem.
