I have a 50 mercury 2 stroke. If you pull the cover off the front of the fuel pump sould it have fuel in it? Then have fuel on the other side of the diaphragm?
Took it out Saturday. Cranks up fine. Idle fine. Above 2000 rpm it runs fine but between 1500 and 2000 rpm it will hicup every min. or so. When it does it. It will drop a couple hundred rpm then come back up. I have put new fuel lines and bulb. New pick up in the tank. It has clean gas in it...
I have a 09 Merc 50 2 stroke. In the past week it has fouled the plugs twice. Both times it was just one plug out of three. I will be riding along fine and bam it starts running like carp. Change the plugs and it runs fine again. The only thing that was changed is I added sta-bil to the gas...
When I rev my motor up(not in gear and on the muffs) it will rev up fine. When it revs back down it is not smooth. It is not popping or anything just not smooth like going up. Is this ok or does it sound like it is lean. It is like it takes a second to come down. Thanks.
I have manual for a 03 50 mercury 2 stroke. Will it work on a 09 mercury 50 2 stroke? The dealer said he did not know. He does not know much, but maybe counting money.
Is it cool to be having some oil and gas(more oil then gas) to be coming out of the carbs. I see some coming out of the air box. Some running down the front of it. Some under the carbs. It is not alot. Thanks.
