    1969 Merc 1500 is it or not?

    I bought a Mercury 1500,with a title from the state of Missouri,Stating 1969 Mercury_150 HP serial number 3918551,on power head and front. it has power trim.. I have been told it can not be a 150 hp from 1969,they did not make them.... I,m lost again... thanks, peter

    1962 850 merc prop slips?????

    Just last week I got this outboard on the water and it ran out real good,Then the prop started slipping,Took it off and the rubber had partilated on the rear of it what do I do? and what is it called? Thanks

    1962 Mercury 850 not firing on all 6 all, the time!

    What I have is an inline 6 1962 850, I have replaced the points, both sets, condensors, coils, and the rotor, the cap and wires are good.The timing between dist and flywheel are correct, the engine runs good on 3 cylinders but the other 3 cut in and out... :( Any help would be great. Thanks
