Hey guys, In my search for an outboard for our Duratech project, I found a Very clean 1963 StarCraft 15' Lancer with a 75hp Mercury for a price I couldn't pass up.
For the life of me I cannot find any relevant info about this model.
Is it Because of it being fiberglass? Not popular? Low...
Just picked this up. Was wondering if you guys could help id the model.

Currently running a 1969 Evinrude 3Hp Litetwin.
Next season it will be powered by either a 58' 5.5hp Fisherman, or a 47' Martin 60.

So here I go again.. I was looking for some parts for my Offshore rebuild, and came across this 1968 Sprint V 15'.
My stepson has showed some interest in restoring/refitting a boat, So I paid the man $50. and dragged it home..
The 4 cyl. 45hp Merc was supposed to have been rebuilt not too long...
Now that the floor is stripped, we are removing the remaining carpet backer and glue from everywhere it once was ...
Lots of scraping, followed by fine grade (blue) roloc backed surface conditioning discs, and finishing with 3M green cleaner discs.
This method seems to work the best, and does...
Spongy floor and filthy, but has some nice extras..
Aerated bait wells, swim deck and anchor locker.
Dragged it home, degreased and acid washed the outside..

Just purchased a 1986 Sylvan Offshore 22 that will require extensive rehab.
( Full Floor, Cuddy partition, side panels, etc.)
I have acquired some excellent info from other posts on this site to help with the rehab.
I'll be sure to post pics as the project moves along...
