i have just replaced the impeller and thermostat
brand new gasket for the cooling plate
cleaned out all the water passages with compressed air
put it all back together and start her up in a tub
what should i be seeing ?
the pee hole is definately peeing (but the water doesnt seem to...

i just got given this pristine 15hp evinrude from my aunty
the engine was my uncles and it has been looked after well
started her up after an 8 year rest in the cupboard
on using the ears i get a very fine mist from the two exhaust holes below the engine and a few drops from the pee...

and i put the motor in a tank and it seems to be working though im still unsure if i did it correctly
water after 30 secs or so comes out of the little hole just below the engine, its not a real strong stream but it doesnt...
