I picked up an old boat with a 60 HP Mercury Outboard (around 1985 vintage). I was told that I should remove the automatic oiler. What mix should I use?
The tube that holds my dipstick on my 99 4.3L Mercruiser appears to have threads on the top. Are these threads for attaching some kind of pump to pull the oil out of the crankcase for an oil change? If so, where do I find an adapter that screws on to it?

I am new to the I/O engine and just received a service manual number 25 and noted that it is for 6 different models of 4.3L engines. The Alpha and Bravo are obvious and so is the EFI designation. What does the "H" designate? Also, what does the serial number in the manual mean?
