Lowe 1978 the white braces are bolted threw the bottom. I have been running the boat weekly but hoping not to blow the back off.i take off slow and do not run wot.it just flexes a little.

It's not charging. The stator has 3 yellow wires.
I checked the regulator/rectifier and it shows not running 12.945 and running with throttle tab up 13.004.this was checked directly from the wire that is suppose to charge the battery(red wire) on the regulator.

I bought the boat from a guy and he said it runs right.well it don't. First I thought I had carb problems and now I know I don't. It's the timing. It's got a dead spot in the throttle.how would I synk the throttle with the linkage without a timing light if possible?
Cowing and ect is a 1979 55 hp evinrude.powerhead is a 60 hp evinrude 1985. It has a broke carb.i do not know what kind to get.my guess is it's from something different.the numbers on the carb is ld331575 that's on the outside.on the inside under the bowel d3-1 331575.any help?
