    Yes but there’s no marks in belt cover on an omc cobra 2.3 motor that I can see after cleaning cover. Plus do I need to remove belt in order to reveal diamond marks on oil pump and cam wheel?

    so if belt breaks there will be no damage? no bent valves? just line up the diamonds and other line up symbols and put a new belt on and it should run?
