took my boat out today and motor was running great until I opened it up to full throttle, it took off great but after a few seconds it started to lose power, I took a look at the motor and nothing unusual took off again and fine until it happened again so basically it is happening all the time...
first off I have been to the websites everyone mentions on here and cant find my info, It may very well just be me but I cant find it, I have a merc 35hp 2cyl s# OB111327 I cant figure out the yr and I also need the fuel fitting that goes to the motor it has 2 prongs dont think its the twist...
just picked up a 40 hp 1986 model40ELJ it has remote controls and steering and I would like to put a tiller on it. Is this possible and what do I need or is there anyone here who wants to trade my remote system for there tiller system ? Thanks in advance

Im going to pull the power head on my 86 115hp inline 6 to replace the exaust gaskets. Any tricks on getting it off? Im going to use a forklift to do the lifting so that should help but is it just those few nuts and the wiring to be disconnected before I pull it or is there linkage and stuff...
just got a 1986 inline 6 115hp the motor starts and has good compression it will bog down under load and not pass about 2000 rpm carbs were rebuilt running on aux tank so gas is good where do I start I have the manual but thought maybe someone here may have had this problem in the past. any help...
