    Stripped threads on carburetor

There are some numbers on my current carburetor, and when I search them up, they bring up a whole different carb wher the fuel inlet is in a totally different position. So would need new fuel line as well if I went that route. These are the numbers I found on the carburetor.

I have a 4.3 Volvo engine. I entered the model number on the Volvo penta website, and the carburetor they have listed is for a V8 Volvo penta.

    Stripped threads on carburetor

I was checking the screen in the carburetor for any debris. Went to tighten the inlet fuel nut into the carburetor, and tightened it a little too tight. Stripped the threads and now fuel spews out of gas line. Needing recommendations on how to fix threads on carburetor so I can still use...

    Volvo Penta overheating

I have a Volvo Penta 432A (4.3 V6) that overheats within minutes. I changed and put new water pump on because the bearing and the impeller went bad on the old one. Impeller missing half blades, and the bearings outer seal came off. Totally my fault. Before all this I took plate off of water pump...

Can’t find right steering bushing for Volvo Penta steering fork/helmet

I was able to get my bushing out on the other side using a flat head screwdriver and hammer. Put the flat head screwdriver in the slot and tapped the hammer to loosen it. Idk seems like the bushings are discontinued. Can’t find any online. So guess I’ll buy a steering fork so I can get in the...

Can’t find right steering bushing for Volvo Penta steering fork/helmet

What website you find this on? It’s the 290 not the older ones. It fell out because the shoulder bolts didn’t have nuts on the end.

Can’t find right steering bushing for Volvo Penta steering fork/helmet

No number 33 would be plastic bushing that goes into the suspension H fork. Followed by a pin that keeps that in place.

Can’t find right steering bushing for Volvo Penta steering fork/helmet

The bushing I need connects the steering fork and helmet together followed by the shoulder bolt that goes through the bushing. I circled where it belongs in the steering fork/helmet. Believe I’m not finding a part number because it’s supposed to come as one whole assembly. That’s my guess, but...

Can’t find right steering bushing for Volvo Penta steering fork/helmet

I ordered both bushings off eBay. The bushing I have and need has a 4 thread count(threads per inch TPI), compared to part number 853048 where that has an 8 thread count. Yes the 853048 bushing was ordered from china, but seems all the bushings with that part number has an 8 thread count. The...
