Seems like the fuel gauge is showing about 1/4 tank difference in level than what's actually in the tank. Is there any decent or better technology out there to install in onboard fuel tanks that can show a more accurate level in the tank on the gauge.
Got the solid plugs in Saturday afternoon & installed. Solid plugs were a bit tight to get in but they're installed. Now I gotta get a breank the work schedule to see how the change did. Not sure about the gear box, but I'll take your word for it.
Got the break in period in. Around 3000 rpm or so the motor feels like it's cavitating. Trimming the motor up seems to help a bit & steadies out around 4500 rpm. Called the dealer & they suggested moving the motor down one mounting hole. It only has one hole left to move the bolts to. Plus I...
What's the general consensus for putting up the boat for the winter. Top off the gas tank & add StarTron or Lucas Oil stabilizer to the tank? There seem to be different schools of thought for which ones to use. I've even heard about using a quart of "White Gas" aka Colman Fuel per 10gals?
