    no spark. stator puts out 310 volts at the grn/wht and wht/grn wires. trigger puts out 3 volts at the purple, brwn and white wires.kill switch is on run. dont have cdm test harness to check cdm's, any way to do without?     help, my motor doesnt have spark. its a 2001 merc 50hp 3 cyl.worked fine when pre started in driveway in water of course. battery is new and charged.kill switch is in run position. now no spark in any cylinder.

    my 2001 merc 50 hp was running good then tuned off and wouldnt get spark anymore. turns out all 3 cdm's are bad. what would cause this?right before it happened, i had gas leak that sprayed out and up on port side, could have sprayed under flywheel.

    stator rating

    how do i know what amp rating my johnson 85hp v4 1979 stator is? I test the stator ohms and got .5-.6 ohms. manual says its a 15 amp. Am i correct?
