Hi, recently put all new bellows in 1986 3.0 mercruiser alpha 1. Was out in the water and water is bubbling out bout 2" below the exhaust bellow. The bellow itself isn't even under the water so I know it's not leaking there. But it's straight below the bellow 2". Did I forgot something or is...
Just put all new bellows on month ago. Making sure they were pushed on the the flanges as much as possible. Yesterday exhaust bellow must of came off. I used the bellow adhesive liberally. Any tips or tricks that work??? Thank all!!
Ya I didn't even think that would be the cause of it. I changed it cuz I couldn't get it in fwd/reverse it was either one or the other. I was thinking to increase idle on carb? As far as routing the cable I guess I'm not sure if it's right or not, couldn't find anything stating exactly how to...
Not sure what's going on. Merc 3.0 starts runs fine all day except when I shift into neutral - it's stumbles and dies , unless I can slip it out of gear quickly and throttle up. Starts right up after it dies. Makes it tough coming up to a dock etc. thanks any ideas?
