    ALL fixed....I found a bolt that got left on top of the flywheel and worked its way in between the stator and flywheel and just tore up the stator. Expensive mistake.

    That will be my next step. Is there such a thing as a safety for to high RPMs not under a load where it would shut the engine down and now there might be a reset somewhere?

    It is not a 1994 it's a 2004 and the model is after the ficht and just before the e-tech.......yes it has spark, it fires up and stalls. it just keeps doing this. I accidently hit the throttle while warming the motor up and took the rpm's to 8 or 9k before I got to bring it back down then...

    Motor will fire but will not run. Changed fuel Lines, Spark Plugs. I had it running for a short while until I accidently hit the throttle to high RPMS, when pulled the throttle back engine stalled and now it fires but won't run???? This motor is not a E-Tech or a Fitch.

    Prop Recommendartions for 24' Pontoon?

    I am having the same problem either with cavitation or the pontoon is creating a air pocket to cause venting or cavitation. I have a 2004 115 hp evinrude direct inject. Only does it at the higher rpm's (4000 +) I have a 13.3/4 x 15 prop. the pontoon is 24 foot Bentley. Any Suggestions??? Thanks.

    problem for blowing fuses solved....The engine is nither a E-tech or A ficht...there was a in between model Direct Injection....Thanks everyone.

    NO.....I have half of the Evinrude people tell me it is a E-Tech, a few tell me it's a fitch....can't find any info from the model number or serial number. I just bought a new Remote Control to engine Harness to see if that is my cause for blowing that fuse in The Power Distribution Panel.

    All the fuses in the power pak are mini 10 amp, I keep blowing the very bottom one below the six altogether... any ideas why??? I have a 2004 E115FLPSRE. Also does anyone know if this is a E Tech engine??? Thanks.
