    How does the bearing housing come out?

    I'm trying to replace the seals in the LU of '89 200XP Evinrude. The gearcase around the bearing housing is all corroded and it won't budge. I've removed the 4 bolts in the gearcase housing. Is there something I'm missing or is it just stuck? I don't won't to break anything.

    Water in the gear oil in the lower unit.

    I'm looking possibly buying a '89 200XP Evinrude. I put a water muff on the motor and cranked and I notice water and oil coming out of the prop. Is this a sign that the seals are bad and need replacing? I have done the seals on '80 Mercury. Are they similiar in replacing?
