    Well, I just left everything in the position it was in when I took it off. Put the new belt on, the old one looked to be in great shape but it was STRETCHED. Doesn't chirp anymore with the new belt on.

    See photo below, just a little metal plug reset in each of those three points is a tiny hole. I kept the remains of the plug and I think I have enough of it to JB weld in. I'll give it a shot. Doing some research it's there to prevent condensation inside the distributor during cold weather...
