I have a 1998 1700SR Maxum boat and the steering is extremely hard to turn because it's manual and I am wonder if there is a power steering kits that I can replace?
Other question is how much would it cost to change out the throttle, forward & reverse gear cable?

I have Maxum 1998 3.0L Mercruiser. Ran fine two days ago and took it out yesterday to clean carpen and vaccum the floor but today didn't start. I check the spark ignition wire and didn't see any spark. Fuel pump to the carburator just fine.

I took my boat out for a test today and notice the oil is leaking somewhere above the lower pulley.
I have a 1998 Maxum 1700SR 3.0L Mercruiser 135HP.
What would be the cause of this leak? What is the possible part name? Could it be from the 2nd picture below white color pulley?
