Hi, I have a E70TLCUR 1987 70hp Outboard that had a bad lower unit. I found a lower unit from a 70573B 1975 70hp. I've been searching around on what I need to do to make the swap work. Do I just need to change the shift bellcrank lever? Thank you in advance
Hi, I bought an old tri-hull with a 1987 70hp Evinrude. The lower unit was cracked, pics below. I found a replacement, but the driveshaft I need is 4 spline and the one I found is 16. Does it look like this one could be welded or is it shot?

I want to decarb my newly acquired 1979 70hp outboard. I've read some of the suggestions on here and most people say to spray the seafoam directly into the carbs at some point in the process. Is this safe for a 2 stroke motor? Are there lubricating properties with this seafoam?
